Seán Cardinal O’Malley, OFM, Cap. was installed as the Archbishop of Boston in July 2003.  Prior to his appointment in the Archdiocese of Boston, Cardinal Seán served as the Bishop of Fall River, MA (1992-2002) and Bishop of Palm Beach, FL (2002-2003).  He is an active member of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) where he serves as the chairman of the Committee on Clergy, Consecrated Life and Vocations. The Archdiocese of Boston is home to more than 1.8 million Catholics. Cardinal Seán was ordained for the priesthood in August 1970 and elevated to Cardinal in March 2006.
