Bishop David A. Zubik, D.D., was installed as the 12th bishop of Pittsburgh in September 2007.  Prior to his appointment, he served as Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay.  During his tenure in Green Bay, he worked vigorously to improve vocations.  He is currently active on three committees for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) – the Administrative Committee, Laity Committee and the Audit Sub-Committee.  The Diocese of Pittsburgh is home to approximately 750,000 Catholics.  Bishop Zubik was ordained to the priesthood in May 1975.
