The team at Catholic Leadership Institute is dedicated to the mission of building authentic Catholic leaders for today and tomorrow. Before joining CLI fulltime in June 2007 Barbara served as a lay ecclesial minster in the Archdiocese of Seattle developing and presenting programs and retreats on faith formation and spirituality. Her work was honed through study alongside her husband in the permanent diaconate program. Barbara earned a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry, with an emphasis on leadership skills in service to the Church. Previously, her 15 years of experience in non–profit management included: developing funds for capital projects for the Archdiocese of Seattle and working with over 30 parishes and pastors on fundraising projects for the Archbishop, serving as Director of Annual Giving for Bellarmine Preparatory School, Development Director of two arts organizations, and Operations Manager for the National Orchestra of New York.
