Catholic Leadership Institute is committed to safeguarding donor, visitor and client personally identifiable information or "personal information" from unauthorized use or disclosure. This privacy statement is part of our firm commitment to protect our Donor's privacy and any other visitor to this website.

This policy applies to all information gathered by Catholic Leadership Institute, both online and offline, on any Platform ("Platform", includes the Catholic Leadership Institute website and Catholic Leaders Online (CLO)), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications or through its other activities.  A complete Opt-out procedure is identified in the closing paragraphs of this policy.

Privacy of Data

Catholic Leadership Institute generally restricts access to nonpublic personal information about donors, clients, and potential donors to staff members, Board, Chair, and Committee members with a business reason to know this information. However, we may from time to time cooperate through very carefully chosen partnerships with other professional organizations or centers of learning, to publications, information about special offers, educational resources and other information that we are not able to provide without the assistance of these carefully chosen partners.  Independent contractors and outside companies who perform work for us are required to adhere to strict privacy standards through their contracts with us. We do not sell mailing lists (names and mailing addresses) or e-mail addresses to third parties.

 

Information Collected

Our website does not automatically collect any individually identifiable information, such as email addresses, from visitors. Our policy is that we only collect information that you willingly and voluntarily provide to us in the course of interacting with the Site. In other words, at www.catholicleaders.org, you may be able to register for prayer opportunities, programs or events, sign up for broadcast email or make a donation. How the Information is Used

We may use it for confirmation of donations, registrations, or other actions you take on our Site, and for related customer service needs. We will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors, clients or potential donors on behalf of other organizations. We will disclose personally identifiable information when required to do so by law.

 

We may use the information that is not personally identifiable to analyze the design and functioning of our Site in order to make Site improvements. We may use such information in the aggregate to analyze Site usage.

 

Referrals:

If a donor, client or Site visitor elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site or organization, we may ask for the friend's name, email address or other contact information. Catholic Leadership Institute will reach out to the friend either via email, phone or in writing. Catholic Leadership Institute stores this information for the sole purpose of communication and education about the organization. This information is protected as stated within the Privacy Policy.
