Recipients Announced for 2010 Outstanding Catholic Leadership Award [ Back to News Articles ]

WAYNE, PA, July 15, 2010 – Catholic Leadership Institute is pleased to announce the 2010 recipients of the Awards for Outstanding Catholic Leadership.
 

  • Matthew Kelly - NY Times Bestselling Author and International Speaker
  • Mother Mary Assumpta Long, O.P. - Co-Foundress and Prioress General of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist
  • Msgr. Robert (Bob) McDermott – Founder of the St. Joseph's Carpenter Society and Romero Center, Vicar General, Diocese of Camden
  • Dr. Rosalie Mirenda - Educator, Author and President of Neumann University

The Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at a reception and dinner in Philadelphia, PA.

CLI developed the Awards for Outstanding Catholic Leadership in 2000 to recognize people in the Catholic Church whose exemplary leadership in the family, the workplace, the community and the Church has been inspired by their Catholic faith. “It is a privilege for Catholic Leadership Institute to lift up the great work of these national Catholic leaders and celebrate their tremendous impact on our Church and world,” said Timothy C.
