8.28.06 - With momentum from a successful launch of its Good Leaders, Good Shepherds program in the Archdiocese of Denver this July, Catholic Leadership Institute will present its two-year clergy leadership development process to dioceses nationwide this fall. Check out the below schedule to see when CLI will be presenting to priests in your neighborhood!
September:
Boston, MA, Norwich, CT, Providence, RI, Fall River, MA
In collaboration with the National Organization for Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy (NOCERCC), a regional cohort of priests from the Archdiocese of Boston and the dioceses of Norwich, Providence and Fall River will begin Good Leaders, Good Shepherds this September.
Denver, CO
Catholic Leadership Institute began training 29 priests in the Archdiocese of Denver in July. Training will continue this Fall with Module 2 of Good Leaders, Good Shepherds.
Detroit, MI
Catholic Leadership Institute presents to the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Detroit on September 11.
Springfield, IL
At the invitation of Bishop Lucas, Catholic Leadership Institute will present to the presbyterate of the Diocese of Springfield on September 20.
Trenton, NJ
After meeting with Bishop Smith, CLI was invited to address the presbyterate of the Diocese of Trenton on September 20 about a February 2007 start.
October
Milwaukee, WI
At the invitation of Archbishop Dolan, Catholic Leadership Institute will present to the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee on October 2.
Camden, NJ
After meeting with Bishop Galante, CLI was invited to address the Presbyteral Council of the Diocese of Camden on October 26.
All dioceses in California, Nevada and Hawaii
At the request of the Regional Council of Priest-Senates (RECOPS), Catholic Leadership Institute will address the chairs of presbyteral councils in all of the dioceses of Region 11, which includes the Archdioceses of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The presentation will take place on October 23.
November:
Marquette, MI
Catholic Leadership Institute will meet with Bishop Sample on November 17.
December:
Galveston-Houston, TX
At the invitation of Archbishop Daniel DiNardo, Catholic Leadership Institute will present to the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston on December 5.
Looking ahead to 2007:
Philadelphia, PA
Catholic Leadership Institute is working with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to begin a cohort in early 2007.
