David Fremo

Leadership Consultant

David Fremo has served in education and ministry for over twenty years. He has been a diocesan leader, administrator, high school teacher, campus minister, musician, and retreat and workshop leader. Since January 2020, he has directed the office of Catholic Education Ministries and served as Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

David’s educational activities include service on the board of directors for the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association and membership on the Minnesota Nonpublic Education Council. He has served the Diocese in representation with the Minnesota Catholic Conference and in the global Synod 2021-2024, of which he has been a co-chair of activities. David is an active advisor, trainer, and provider of professional development for schools, parishes, and individuals. Since January 2023, he has also been a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. He holds a MA in Theology from Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary, an MS in Educational Leadership from Creighton University, a certificate in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University, and a certificate in Catholic School Management from Villanova University’s School of Business.

David is energized by working with people in the spirit of Pope Francis’ call to accompaniment, that we make present the closeness of Christ in our walk together, and well meet the challenges and opportunities before us. He lives in the beautiful woods of Collegeville Township, Minnesota with his wife and two daughters. They are loving companions and share in his many passions and hobbies, especially cooking, gardening, boating, craftwork, and traveling.
