
Fr. Louis Vallone

Fr. Lou Vallone was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 1973. Since his ordination, Fr. Lou has shepherded the faith communities of nine different parishes --six of them as pastor. His pastoral experience has included ministry to a diverse range of cultural and socio-economical faith communities as well as the successful merger of seven parishes. Fr. Lou is a founding member of the Bishops Latin School seminary, a Jesuit high school located in the heart of Pittsburgh. Completing his undergraduate studies at Duquesne University, Fr. Lou has also done graduate work at St. Meinrad Seminary, Indiana University in Bloomington and St. Paul in Ottawa. Now retired as a Pastor and Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University, he spends his time as a Charter Member and Master Coach for the Human Formation Coalition and gives retreats, days of recollections and missions for clergy and parishes, as well as consulting and lecturing in Canon Law as an Advocate.
