Stewart is a marketing leader with 20+ years of experience in several billion-dollar brands. As a leader for Disney Commercial Strategy, he is currently in-charged of growing the resorts business at World Disney World in Orlando, FL.
He was born in Venezuela where he graduated in Business from the Andres Bello Catholic University and started his career at Arthur Andersen Consulting. He then received the Worldbank Fundayacucho scholarship (given to 1 out of 50,000 students) to pursue his MBA at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. After a short experience in Silicon Valley’s Hitachi Data System, Stewart started a successful marketing career with Procter & Gamble leading critical work on many iconic brands including Ariel Latin America, Gillette Canada and Tide and Downy in the US. After 8 years at P&G, Stewart joined Darden Restaurants to launch Red Lobster’s first ever Spanish-language marketing campaign and lead the brand marketing efforts in TV advertising, media, digital and core menu development.
As a committed Hispanic leader, he led the P&G and Darden Hispanic groups and has been recognized twice by Nation’s Restaurant News as 1 of the Top 40 Hispanic leaders in the Food and Hospitality industry. Stewart has served his community as a Board Member of the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund, Leader of the Orlando Dioceses Cursillo Movement and as a Parish Council Member of St. John Vianney Parish.
Stewart is an avid runner and long-distance walker who crossed Spain walking 500 miles in the famous Camino De Santiago. He lives in Orlando with his wife Carmen and their 3 kids where they all enjoy family activities, travelling and eating great food.
