Jessica Adams

Leadership Consultant

Jessica Adams joined the Catholic Leadership Institute as a Leadership Consultant in 2022. She brings with her to this work a long history of involvement with peace and justice and catechetical ministries in the Catholic Church and experience in the fields of public policy, organizing, non-profit administration, and academic theology.

In her most recent work as a member of the USCCB Synod implementation team, Jess has witnessed firsthand the power of the Synodal process to open minds and hearts and deeply believes that this process of listening to one another is the most reliable pathway to a vibrant and spirit-filled Church. Prior to her work with the Synod team, Jess served as the Family Faith Formation Coordinator at her local parish, Director of Admissions and Student Services at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, MO and as the Founder and Executive Director of the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank. In every position, Jess’ passion and strength has been in the creation and cultivation of engaged, dynamic teams.

Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Aquinas Institute of Theology and a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University. She and her husband, Jay, are the proud parents of five children and live in the Archdiocese of St. Louis where they are active members in the St. Francis Xavier parish community.
