Last Friday, as I reflected upon potential 2021 resolutions, I realized: I don’t do a good job setting resolutions for my faith.

I’m determined to change that. Last year, I aimed to run a 5k race under 20 minutes… I ran 19:59. What if I – what if WE – set Catholic resolutions and accomplished them, even by the slimmest margin? I wonder what God could accomplish through us if we reallocated the energy, time, and passion we give to resolutions like losing weight, exercising more, or getting organized to Him and our Church instead.

I’d like to find out…

For resolution inspiration, Im watching again Dan Cellucci’s Our Sunday Visitor Innovation Talk, “What if they don’t come back?” Dan’s words present great ideas for where we can concentrate our spiritual resolutions, especially within his “What if…” questions.

I invite you to watch with me.

Prayers for many blessings for you and your family in 2021! Catholic Leadership Institute remains steadfast in our resolution – year after year – to support our Church leaders and prepare our Church for the Next Generation… we could not do this without your support!

p.s. Do you set spiritual New Year’s Resolutions? If so, I would love to know about yours or to learn what ideas you glean from Dan’s talk. Email me to let me know.
