Today, on Veterans Day, we celebrate and pray for all those who have served our country.
Catholic Leadership Institute is honored to have veterans share their courage, leadership, and strength with us. Our organization is blessed to have veterans serve amongst our Board of Directors, our National Advisory Board, our Task Forces, our staff, and our ministry initiatives. Noteworthy is that Catholic Leadership Institute’s Founder, Tim Flanagan, himself is a veteran.
We thank them; we pray for them.
Yesterday, the Honorable Mel Martinez joined us for the CLI Leadership Confessional. We were humbled by Mel’s courageous journey and beautiful faith. In particular, his words about praying for our veterans struck us, and we wanted to share them with you.
May we be inspired by the hope, bravery, and selflessness of our veterans. May we bring that same spirit of love and camaraderie to our parishes. May we see in our veterans a reminder of the sacrifice and love for humankind that resides in the heart of our Lord.
