Archdiocese of Newark Parish Session Facilitator Training

Thank you very much for volunteering to serve as a facilitator for the upcoming Archdiocese of Newark Parish Sessions. These sessions are an important moment in the We Are His Witnesses pastoral initiative, and on behalf of Cardinal Tobin and the Archdiocese of Newark, we are grateful for your “yes.”

There will be a lot of information to share with you about the parish sessions, including your specific session assignments, and you will be able to access all of that on this same webpage, so we recommend that you bookmark it, as you will be referring to it throughout the next several months.

The next step for you as a parish session facilitator is to register for your preferred training sessions. The training process for facilitators consists of four (4) sessions. Two of the sessions are offered only virtually (sessions 1 and 3), and two of the sessions are presented in person at the Archdiocesan Chancery (sessions 2 and 4). Each session will be offered twice-once during the day and once in the evening, to accommodate your schedules. Additionally, even though we hope that you will be able to join us in person for sessions 2 and 4, we will also offer a virtual option for each of those sessions, for those who cannot attend in person. Finally, there will be a recording of each of the four sessions available.

Please note that due to the many complexities of the material to be presented at the parish sessions, it is requested that all facilitators participate in these training sessions, whether online or in person.
