Mario Sacasa

Leadership Consultant


Dr. Mario Sacasa is a leadership consultant, speaker, and licensed marriage and family therapist who helps Catholic leaders and organizations cultivate healthy relationships, resilient teams, and mission-driven cultures. With more than 20 years of counseling and ministry experience, he integrates psychological insight, organizational health, and Catholic anthropology to help individuals and institutions flourish.

He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, LA and owns a counseling practice in Charlotte, NC that integrates the Catholic faith with evidence-based psychological care.

Dr. Sacasa travels nationally offering lectures, retreats, and leadership formation on topics related to hope, relationships, emotional health, and human flourishing. He is the creator of two online courses Dating Well and Overcoming Stress and Anxiety and hosts the popular podcast, Always Hope.

He has served on faculty at Notre Dame Seminary, Divine Mercy University, and the Institute for Priestly Formation. He has lectured for national organizations including SEEK (FOCUS National Conference), the Theology of the Body Institute, CatholicMatch, and the Together in Holiness conferences. His work has been featured by Relevant Radio, Ask Fr Josh Podcast, and numerous other Catholic media platforms.

Drawing from experience at the diocesan, parish, nonprofit, and clinical levels, Dr. Sacasa is passionate about helping leaders and organizations strengthen communication, deepen trust, and remain anchored to their mission.

He and his wife, Kristin, have been married for 23 years and are the grateful parents of four sons.
