It is with grateful appreciation that we thank the Honorable R. James (Jim) Nicholson for his tremendous work and generous contribution to Catholic Leadership Institute's National Advisory Board as he transitioned from his role as co-chair earlier this year. "Catholic Leadership Institute has been blessed with Jim Nicholson's eight years of leadership as co-chair along with Cardinal Sean O'Malley of our National Advisory Board. Jim is a perfect example of an ambassador for all our board members," shares Tim Flanagan, Catholic Leadership Institute's Founder.
The National Advisory Board is comprised of 23 members across the country who share their gifts and talents of wisdom and experience to lead and shepherd the activities of Catholic Leadership Institute, so that the organization's vision, mission and core values are fulfilled. "In addition to his outstanding relationship and creditability with members of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, Jim has brought more board members and major donors to Catholic Leadership Institute than any other individual," shares Flanagan. "His leadership has provided the support for Catholic Leadership Institute to serve the Church with leadership formation and consulting at the highest level."
Jim has been a long-time supporter of Catholic Leadership Institute. He shares, "I firmly believe that Catholic Leadership Institute is one of the most important ministries in our Church. You witness the difference leadership can make in the numerous and important causes you support through your time and stewardship. Catholic Leadership Institute is providing critical skills to priests, bishops and professional staff to help them in all aspects of their ministries that share and protect the faith for our children and our grandchildren."
We are very grateful to Jim for his commitment to the mission of our apostolate and remaining on the Board in an advisory capacity. His experience as a former Ambassador to the Holy See, Secretary for Veteran Affairs, and Chair of the Republican National Convention have brought a wealth of knowledge and exposure to our ministry. Catholic Leadership Institute is blessed to have such wonderful members on our Boards who generously give their time, talent, and treasure to further the vision of the apostolate.
