At the end of 2025, the Next Generation Parish journey concluded for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Both archdioceses were confronted with the effects of a global pandemic and came out on the other side with strength, commitment, and growth in sacramental trends, beliefs, and so much more.
Some highlights include:
Archdiocese of Philadelphia
- St. Cecilia: Spiritual growth more than doubled, with 56% now saying the parish helps them grow as Catholics (up from 25%).
- Annunciation Parish: Youth aren’t just attending — they’re leading, now serving on the Parish Implementation Team.
- St. David: Financial vitality followed spiritual renewal, with $67,550 more received the year after their offertory initiative.
Archdiocese of Los Angeles
- St. Rita: Mass attendance more than doubled from 1,446 to 2,984 weekly worshippers.
- St. Gregory the Great: Baptisms surged from 60 to 215.
