It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of our friend and former colleague, Dennis Van Auken. Dennis went home to the Lord on January 8, 2026, following a battle with cancer. Throughout his 16 years as a Leadership Consultant with Catholic Leadership Institute, Dennis brought warmth, humor, wisdom, and a deep spirituality to countless Catholic leaders. His singular sense of mission and irrepressible joy inspired those he encountered, including those who worked with him at CLI.
