Dear Friends,
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Mrs. Terese Flanagan, beloved wife of six decades to our esteemed founder, Tim Flanagan. Terese passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025.
Terese Flanagan was not only a pillar of strength and support for her family but also an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be impacted by her presence.
Terese once referred to herself as Tim’s “silent partner” and for good reason. Her generosity and devotion were evident through her support of Tim in pursuing his call to begin Catholic Leadership Institute in 1989 and every year since. While Tim is our founder, we would not be here without Terese’s incredible support and love of Tim and the Catholic Church. In 2006, Terese and Tim were recognized by Maynooth College in Ireland for their lives of service.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Tim and his entire family, including their five children, 18 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to them as they navigate this profound loss.
