Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the common questions about Eius.
-
What is the cost for participating in Eius?
This experience's program and lodging costs are covered by the generosity of faithful donors who wish to support and sustain the shepherds of the Church. The only expense priests must cover is their travel expenses for the duration of the cohort.
-
What size parishes benefit most from your programs?
Our programs are designed to serve parishes of all sizes. Whether you have 200 or 10,000 registered families, our coaching and assessment tools adapt to your unique context. We have particularly strong results with mid-size to large parishes seeking organizational renewal.
-
Are all in-person Eius events required?
Yes, all participants are required to attend the three in-person events. Communal growth and fraternity with priests from other dioceses are essential parts of the experience.
-
Where are the in-person events held?
All in-person events are held at The Augustine Institute in St. Louis, Missouri. Their 284-acre campus houses classrooms, lodges with guest rooms, and a large dining area with windows overlooking the river bluffs along the Missouri River. Outdoor spaces offer opportunities for athletic recreation along with five miles of nature trails and four miles of paved paths ideal for quiet prayer and meditation.

-
How many priests participate in each cohort of Eius?
There are 20-25 priests in each cohort represented by four to five dioceses.
-
How many Eius tracks are there?
There are currently two different Eius tracks. Additional versions are currently underway, including tracks for parish priests and vicars for clergy.
-
Are either Tracks prerequisites to other tracks or CLI services?
No. It is not necessary at this point in time to take one Eius track before another track in a particular order or to any CLI service.
